Wood Badge is advanced adult leadership training for Cub Scout, Scouts BSA and Venturing Scouters at the unit, district, council, and professional levels. It is taught over two weekends by living the experience of a Scouts BSA troop, utilizing the patrol method.
Wood Badge focuses on key aspects of leadership to refine skills in team development, communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. Varied instruction methods and individualized mentorship equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to bring the highest Scouting experience back home to their units and communities.
