National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is an immersive, 6-day course for Scouts who are serious about enhancing their leadership skills, building teamwork, and having tons of fun in the process! You’ll work with other Scouts to tackle challenges, lead projects, and gain confidence in your abilities.

NYLT imparts each participant with various leadership skills to give them the confidence and knowledge necessary to run their home unit’s program. Scouts get to see each other model the tools being taught and practice the skills they are learning.
Through a wide range of activities, events, games, and adventures, participants will work together as they put into action the best that Scouting has to offer. The course models an ideal unit where each day at the course represents a week in the life of a unit.
