Travel Through Time!

Navigate multiple historical time zones with hands-on activities, games, and challenges. Work in groups to solve clues and complete the Time Trek mission!

The Renaissance

  • It’s the early 1500s and a cultural movement just took place in Europe. Books are being printed in mass, art is everywhere, and the start of modern science is taking place. Scouts will start their exploration of this classic period which transformed the future.

Scouting Origins

  • Trek over to the time period of William D. Boyce, silent movies, and the telegram. Here, it’s the early 1910s, and Scouts can participate in skills, activities, and games from over 100 years ago. Their uniforms might look a bit different, but the scouting spirit will be the same.

The 1960s

  • Hair was big, the space race was on, and rock and roll was taking the world by storm! Travel back to the 60s and participate in some retro games, learn more about astrological signs, and put together some far out crafts. Groovy!

The Future

  • It’s a few years into the future and computers are more powerful than ever before. In this STEM-focused area, scouts will be able to see how technology is always affecting the world around them.

Special Needs & DEI Midway

  • Celebrating our differences is important. Here scouts will get to learn about different cultures and abilities (and have fun while doing it). Scouting is for ALL.

Trades Midway

  • Skilled labor is an ever-growing need in society. Here, scouts will be able to participate in hands-on activities, talk with experts, and learn about all the trades that exist in our world.

Range & Target Activities

  • Archery and BB gun shooting will be the highlight of this area, with other activities available, like trebuchets and slingshots! Cub Scouts will be able to earn the BB and Archery Elective Adventures with our qualified instructors!

Inflatables & Yard games

  • It wouldn’t be a camporee without an inflatable obstacle course or a game of cornhole amongst friends! We’ll have everyone’s favorites, ladder golf, 9 square-in-the-air, and gaga ball.

X-treme Adventure

  • Designed and implemented by the youth in the OA, this area will focus on high adventure activities geared towards older scouts. Let’s take Scouting to the X-treme!

Escape Rooms

  • I’m sure you’ve heard the adage, “Teamwork makes the dream work!” Well, now, we’ll put our scouts to the test. Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Sea Scout units can sign their patrols up to work together to escape one of three rooms of varying difficulty.

  • Get some tools and get to work building out program areas around the property!
  • Bring the fun to life! The Program Team will run a slate of activities throughout the weekend, providing fun, energetic and memorable experiences for our Scouts.
  • Help Scouts take home a piece of the adventure! The Trading Post Team will assist with customer service, selling gear and souvenirs.
  • With emergency services just a few minutes away, The Medical Team is responsible for providing first aid for minor illnesses and injuries that can happen at camp.
  • Order of the Arrow members provide cheerful service to the Scouting program. At the Camporee, the Service Corps will primarily support food service and the High Adventure program area.
