Camp Wolverine is an Owasippe Scout Reservation camp located on 4,800 acres of wilderness in Western Michigan. The creek is a tributary of the White River and is completely surrounded by Owasippe’s boundaries. A dam on the creek forms the lake where Camp Wolverine is located. Lake Wolverine has a highly protected ecosystem that offers its visitors peaceful serenity. Our Scouts enjoy fishing, rowing, kayaking, and boating on this ecologically pure lake.
Camp Wolverine offers great programs in Scoutcraft, Handicraft, Shooting Sports, and Ecology/Conservation. The camp’s Aquatics program is done at the large swimming pool near the lodge, along with boating activities in Lake Wolverine. Camp Wolverine’s Pathfinder First Year Camper Program is also a popular option for new scouts!
Meal Options: Troops can choose “Hot Pack” meal service, where each meal is delivered to your site fully cooked and ready to serve or (NEW FOR 2020) troops can choose to eat meals in our Dining Tent. We will also offer an option to try both formats.
The camp has 25 sites with facilities that include hot water showers, wash stands, and flush toilets. The site locations are conducive to camping using the patrol method.

Today with your help, the Boy Scouts of America will continue to motivate young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime. Your gift will ensure that over 20,000 youth will have the opportunity to experience all that Scouting has to offer.
In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life. Scout me in!
