“G.O.” Girls Outdoor Junior Explorers Outdoor Adventure Program
Boy Scouts of America, Pathway to Adventure Council is starting a brand new program geared specifically for girls in 6th, 7th and 8th grades called G.O. (Girls Outdoor) Exploring. This program is being developed to give girls the opportunity to experience the outdoors, participate in adventures, develop their confidence and leadership skills, and make lasting friendships while learning new skills. A local unit has been in existence for nearly three years and has proven to be such a great success that six more units will be opened throughout the Chicagoland area.
